Sugar & Swank's philosophy, shaped by its founder, Jennifer Muscatel, is about helping guide people through this process in a fun, motivating and encouraging way. A Sugar & Swank makeover involves updating your look through make-up and fashion, but it includes so much more. It is an idea of being: being good people, being connected and being good to yourself.

Style History
Style has always been important to Jennifer Muscatel, owner of Sugar & Swank. At three she was a flower girl in a wedding and insisted on wearing her gown to preschool for several weeks following. In elementary school she refused to wear sneakers, even on gym days.

She continued to explore her individual style throughout high school, always studying trends and how to incorporate them into her personal look. Eventually she attended Syracuse University in New York to study fashion in an official capacity. While there, she earned an internship with Neiman Marcus in Boston where she was exposed to a level of fashion she had never known before. She learned how high-end clothing was made, factors to be aware of when determining the quality of a product and how to artfully put clothing and accessories together.

Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse and continued honing her style expertise for several years at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta. Most importantly, she witnessed time and again how clients' self-esteem grew when they felt attractive in an outfit that was sharp, stylish and comfortable.

As the years passed, Jennifer continued developing her style skills, eventually merging them with other areas in which she excels in order to create Sugar & Swank. Today she revels in her clients' positive responses to the way she simply tweaks their clothing, make-up or home in a way that seamlessly pulls everything together.
